OKLAHOMA CITY (June 9, 20009) Lt. j.g. Thomas Gardner, Electrician's Mate 1st Class Dustin Wolcott, Cdr. Aaron Thieme, Commanding Officer and Store Keeper 2nd Class Thomas McLeod of the Los Angeles class fast-attack submarine USS Oklahoma City (SSN 723) stand with Oklahoma City Mayor, Mick Cornett during their tour of City Hall. Red Earth

Crew members of the Los Angeles class fast-attack submarine USS Oklahoma City (SSN 723) recently participated in the Grand Entry as honored warriors during the 22nd Annual Red Earth Native American Festival in Oklahoma City. The Navy League and Strategic Communications Wing One (SCW-1) hosted the namesake crew in conjunction with Oklahoma City Navy Week. Navy Weeks are held throughout the country to increase Navy awareness in areas without a significant fleet presence. U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Kris Hooper (Released)
